Golden, mild-tasting grains that cook up separate and fluffy, an easy first millet to try. Also known as Thinai / Korralu / Kangni.
How to use: Rinse, soak one measure in two measures of water for 2 hours, cook on a low flame for about 15 minutes, then rest 2 minutes. Use in place of rice, or in upma, pongal and khichdi.
Ingredients: Pearled foxtail millets.
