Single-polished sona masoori, pounded rather than milled smooth, so more of the bran stays on the grain. It cooks soft and separate with a fuller, nuttier flavour than fully polished rice: the everyday rice for sambar, rasam, curd rice and pongal. Allow a little more water and time than for white rice. 10kg bag.
